About Me
The medical director of Aegis Acupuncture Medical Inc, Dr. Tracy Young, is a 4th generation TCM practioner from Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
After graduating from National Taiwan University with a Bachelor degree, she pursued her postgraduate study in Genetics at Ohio State University and the University of Rochester. She also earned a Master degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and has been working in an IT career in the Silicon Valley in California.
Seeing many people around her suffering from illness and inspired by Dr. Ni HaiXia, she was determined to carry forward authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine and devoted herself to the wellness of human beings.
She received the national certificate of Oriental Medicine, earned her Doctoral degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Five Branches University, and founded Aegis Acupuncture Medical Inc. Tracy is a licensed acupuncturist and has been treating patients with various illness in Silicon Valley, California.
She also practices Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and ShaoLin martial art. She is adept at assessing and working at many levels simultaneously with enthusiasm to facilitate better health and greater spiritual well being for life.
